It is becoming harder to ignore the impact that online video, and SVOD in particular, is having on TV viewing. Fox is feeling the pinch. Amid ratings declines the company has had to cut profit forecasts for this year. New data from the US and UK show the decline in TV viewing is likely a global phenomenon. And other data shows over 50% of Americans no longer watch linear television at all. Though this trend impacts the young most heavily, other age groups are being affected as well.
